Health and Safety in the Workplace training course
Description
This course has been designed to provide delegates with a general understanding of Health and Safety issues in the workplace. This course provides delegates with an understanding of current health and safety rules and regulations and explains the responsibilities of both the employer and employees. Delegates will also learn how to deal with reporting of any accidents or incidents, should they occur. This in house course is aimed at learners in a variety of work environments and will develop awareness of health and safety within an organisation.
The course content of this course which is equivalent to a level 2 qualification provides learners with essential knowledge and understanding of health and safety in the workplace under UK health and safety legislation and is also an ideal platform to higher level training or career development.
Duration
The minimum classroom contact time of 6 hours should be delivered over a minimum of half a day. The course can be spread over a maximum of 3 weeks, ensuring that each session is a minimum of two hours. The class ratio for this qualification is a maximum of 16 learners to 1 Trainer/Assessor.
